Lead Pastor - Pat Crowder

Article Pic

Our pastor is Patrick Crowder (pictured with daughter Destiny). He has served the Lord in various equipping ministry roles since 1979. He is currently an adjunct professor at Life Pacific College where he previously served as Dean of Students and Director of Ministry Formation. He founded a college ministry while completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Angelo State University, then attended Regent University where he graduated with a Master of Divinity and a Masters from the College of Communications. While finishing grad school he launched Coastlands Community Church in Chesapeake, Virginia and served as pastor there for 12 years. He has served on the board of many community and missions organizations and for a time as the Coordinator of Ministries for the National Church Office at Foursquare.

His passion is to help each person find their full destiny in Jesus Christ; to help each person be a positive force for Christ in their family, career and community. He believes every person is a leader -- in the sense that we all influence someone somewhere. So his personal mission is: "developing leaders with love" (2 Timothy 2:2). He has four children who have always been his first ministry. Melody (left in picture), his oldest, is married to Douglas (far left). She is finishing up her PhD at Princeton University. Douglas is an Air Force Academy grad and serves our country as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Pat's youngest daughter (middle) is a third grader. Josh (middle right) lives in Virginia managing a restaraunt, and Austin (the "dread head" on far right) is spending this year studying abroad and serving in Africa and Asia. Austin is a student at Westmont College. In addition to ministry and family time, Pastor Pat loves to bicycle, run, kayak, and hike, especially to the top of mountains with his son's. He is very excited to see how God will flow through people to impact lives along the 15-cooridor in the years ahead.
